The Hangover gang is ready for a sequel. Following protracted negotiations, the Hangover folks have completed talks for a sequel and are ready to sign deals, according to Deadline.com
Talks of a sequel have been floating around ever since the movie first came out, or so it seems. But it isn't a surprise that Warner Bros would want to do a sequel. The Hangover was the highest grossing R-rated comedy ever. And my guess is that the sequel will probably beat it, if it is in fact R. Which I'm guessing it more than likely will be.
An October start on the sequel is considered likely if Helms can work out things with The Office.
My question is, what will the story of the sequel be? Will there be another hangover? Or will it take a completely different route, same characters different story? My guess is that it will be something closer to the later, but who knows.

ReplyDeleteRotten Tomatoes already has a consensus and it's not very good. I was looking forward to this movie too. Damn... now I'm not sure... I still wanna watch it but I don't want to waste RM10 if it really really sucks either...
